Memorable Banding Moment: I had only had
my cornet a few weeks when we had our first concert playing
along side the Barnsley Met Band and Leyland Band all giving
encouragement and useful tips.
About Shirley: I started to learn to read
music when I was 47. I got lots of encouragement from the
children at school. Since then I have taken grades 2 and
3 soon I hope to do grade 4.
Hobbies & Other Interests: Reading
a book with a glass of wine.
Musical Ambitions: To
get the top notes and see the band win the Area Finals.
